Cartas: 1) Indicando que luego de los sucesos del 2 de octubre en Quito, y del 6 en Cuenca, seguirán buscando el triunfo de la buena causa electoral, e indicando que el Gobernador está incumpliendo el artículo 74 de la Ley de Elecciones, acaudillando el partido del general Sáenz. 2) Dando noticias de la contienda electoral y la publicación de Ley por parte del Gobernador, e informa que los conservadores en Guayaquil convocaban a hacer revolución tomándose la casa de gobierno, y que el Obispo tuvo que interceder para calmar los ánimos. 3) Sobre el triunfo en las elecciones con un margen importante en esa ciudad. 4) Felicitando por la victoria electoral y remitiendo la lista de personas hábiles para ocupar las jefaturas políticas. Indica además que los vejámenes han cesado por completo. 5) Indicando que se le remitió la lista de las personas para ocupar cargos públicos.
